Transistor Mobile Site
Mobile site redesign for transistor magazine
Transistor Magazine is a local Duluth publication that promotes local culture and activities in the area. The target audience of the publication is primarily college students and often helps to keep people who know nothing of the area informed of local events on a weekly basis. This is a great source of promotion for local events and and for the city as a whole.
Unfortunately, the site is an exact copy of the print piece and isn’t easy to quickly navigate, especially on mobile. To combat this, I worked on creating a seamless user experience that would allow event filtering, without making it feel heavy handed. I created the look and feel of the site for mobile with the addition of an animation to better illustrate the site’s navigation.
