Marcato Magazine

Having grown up listening and playing classical music, I’ve seen classical magazines aimed at older audiences with more of a traditional look but not as many for younger audiences. So here I decided to create what a modern representation of a classical music magazine might look like.

Marcato Magazine is a fresh take on classical music magazines. It’s aimed at a younger target audience and the design is more playful and experimental. I let many of the visuals bleed off the grids and mix this more playful style with structured and refined layouts to create an interesting visual dynamic.
